If there would have been minus rating, then I would have given this to Fortis Hospital, Vashi. It is actually not a hospital, it is a money-making company who takes a huge amount of money in form of "Bills" from lower and middle class people. A patient who is admitted for a week in fortis hospital, vashi will have to shed close to 4-6 lac per week even if he has normal fever. In case of any operations or surgeries, the bill can go to 10-15 lac per week.
Moreover, the facilities and services are very poor, even a government hospital is far better than this hospital. Doctors in this hospital give wrong updates to the patient’s relatives; they even do not know the patient’s name or whether the patient is a female or male. I have personally experienced this nightmare when my mother was admitted in this hospital. When you can Fortis hospital, their caller tune is "Fortis caring hospital" and in reality it is opposite of that.
In the Past, I have reached out to the directors of Fortis Healthcare and have escalated on the poor services and huge bills but no action has been taken.
