Should have stayed away from this place when they didnt pick their calls all day long.
But this was the closest home and I persisted with them.
Took they phone number from JustDial and called them and the phone kept ringing and a ring tone played a silly Fortis Hospital jingle. Went to the hospital physically on Saturday and was turned away because I didnt a prior appointment, perfectly understandable, but I didnt have an appointment because they dont pick calls. Anyway, booked a slot for Monday morning 8 am and left the place with a visiting card with all new phone numbers.
Suggestion 1: Update your phone number on a portal like JustDial and life is easier for your clients
Reached Fortis at 8 and entered the Patients details on a piece of paper along with the details of the health check-up package, they took 40 mins to generate a print out with the details of the tests to be conducted. 40 minutes. Another endless wait to give blood for the fasting sugar, the personnel taking the blood was not sensitive and yanked at the patients arms to locate the blood vessel.
Breakfast is served on the 5th floor and the lift goes up only till 4th, if you have ill patients then it is difficult to walk up those steps. Breakfast was decent and from here everything started to get irritating
Reached the floor to get the ECHO and TMT. There are more than 10 people waiting and the line is isnt moving, apparently there are some IT problems and they are working through them, spent three hours waiting to get my turn, pathetic waste of time. There is no logistics based on the number of patients enrolled for the checkups and the time slots, everything is hay wire and you have to wait for your turn at every testing center.
In between, I get a call from the front desk that I have to report to ophthalmologist as he wants to go wherever and it is getting late. Guy was rude and talking to the patient in English when he very well knew the local dialect, did a shoddy job and told all was fine and rushed out. The post breakfast blood test was now delayed by an hour, so there is no way the whole report is accurate. The report will be handed over only after two days and so will the consultation with the doctors
Suggestion 2: Put some logistics in place to handle the crowd, it is sparse on a weekday. Whats the state on a Weekend.
Summary:
Not worth the money and the wait
Insensitive personnel
