This is about the diabetologist/endocronologist Dr. SOMASHEKAR REDDY working in the garb of a doctor in Fortis Hospital-cunningham road, bangalore. I was unfortuinate enough to be his patient anf went to him for treatig my high blood sugar condition. He spoke like he was very concerned at first but that was only to basically lure us to his private clinic rather than see him at Fortis. Later we realised the reason for this was that he had a ragtag lab at his clinic-which by the way was a spooky garage like place-and he wanted us to undergo all the tests we had done just then in Anand Lab all over again! He was furious when we had gone again to Anand’s since we felt it was a safer and more dependable place. After that his attitude changed and he did not prescribe the right medication as revenge! Even then we did not realise what a monster he could be.
We took our son to him for thyroid for which we had done the tests in Anand-again he was furious and made us do the same test again on the same day-we told him the boy was leaving abroad in 24 hours and could he just prescribe the medication since there was no time to hang around his clinic right upto the moment our son was to leave but he said not to owrry the results of TSH T3 T4 and another test for antibody count would be available in a few hours and hed let us know by phone! The joke is he went ahead even before seeing these results and prescribed the medication!!! When we called him for the results his receptionist told us the antibody test usually takes 48 hours and more to come thru!! and this cheat knew that all along and told us we’d get them in 24 hours-We were almost ready to leave the country and when we asked him he had someone call us and give us some fake readings!
My god!! what have doctors become! Never do the mistake of going to somashekar reddy-his main aim is to fleece patients into doing tests in his dirty looking lab and buy expensive medicines in his pokey little shop-I hope u will pass this on to as many ppl as you can- we as patients should unite and do our bit to protect ourselves form such cheats like SOMASHKEAR REDDY of Fortis hospital. The hospital itself should think about continuing with him since he diverts most of their [atients to their clinic.
