I watched the trailer on youtube and got excited, as it looked like a different show. The very first thing worth noticing is the location, which according to me is one of the main characters on the show. The name itself is made up, Fortitude, which is in Norway. The appearance of the place is creepy but as they say looks can be deceiving. That is the case with Fortitude, the place looks creepy but it is free of any violent crime. Unless, of course, one such crime shakes the whole tight-knit community of Fortitude and one after another skeletons start piling up.
Apart from the captivating trailer, one more reason for me to start watching this series was Stanley Tucci, I have never missed any movie starring Tucci. Other than Tucci, the actors in lead roles are Richard Dormer, Sofie Grabol. Fortitude’s peaceful existence is shaken up by a heinous murder, which gets the sheriff and the localities worried. The place is cold and so are the people, but the premise of the show is very interesting. There are 12 episodes in the first season and I have watched the first 5 so far. In fact you can just watch the pilot episode to get an idea.
