Fortune Resort Bay Island in Port Blair, Andaman, is a Fortune park Hotel of Welcome group. I visited port Blair recently and had booked a room in this hotel. It is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay in Port Blair. The location is marvelous and is set on a hill slope with a wonderful view with most rooms facing the sea. It’s mostly made of wood giving it its own character. One can sit in the room’s balcony and it might seem that you are in sea. The service is excellent and the staff courteous and helpful. It has a quaint sea water swimming pool, a neat bar aptly named ‘Nicobar’ and a multicuisine restaurant ‘Mandalay’ where wonders are churned out by the chef. The front office is managed very efficiently by Ms Chaula Mazmudar and overall management is under the GM Mr. Amrit Kohli. The whole team is indeed very efficient and they leave no stone unturned to make the guests comfortable with their personalized hospitality. Needless to stay staying in this wonderful group of islands with such fantastic natural beauty is all the more pleasurable with such a good hotel. One can unwind here from the mad city rush in complete tranquility. I left the place after a week of holiday with sweet memories and resolution to come again. It was an ultimate holiday.
