No Expiry Date !

I purchased foster beer cans in the month of May 08 for a family party. AS we had taken quite a few packs few were left and the same were lying in our refrigerator. In November my father opened one and tasted it. It was bad tasting so we looked for an expiry date and noticed there is no expiry date or nothing written about self life. How can the company sell their products without any expiry or self life information? This is very irresponsible. I believe Kingfisher has already been fined for the same and had to pay compensation of Rs. 100000 regarding the same issue bought up in consumer court

I have written to the company but no answer, I will be approaching the relevant government department to take further actions hope that happens sooner than later but in the mean time all those Guys who enjoy drinking beer watch what you are drinking update : the consumer court has sent an inquiry to the company and not received any response. They are now proceeding with filing the case at their expense.!
