FOSTER’S BEER is not all that wild and kinky as the advertisements presented it. It has a good light brown colour. It’s a good beer, not too mild or too strong. It does not hit you hard, a feeling that you get through their ads. ’’AUSTRALIAN FOR BEEA!’’ Yes, but I think the ads were anytime better than the Beer itself.They portrayed the beer as hard, rough, rustic and macho AND CRUDE. Well, I dont mean to say that the beer should have been like the ads., ..its just that the ads were too enjoyable, each one of them. Back to the beer, Fostor’s is quite an enjoyable beer especially with the Indian non- vegetarian food. The combination is great fun. But what do you know...the Australian Cricket players in India drink ’’KINGFISHER’’ beer, going by all the hugh hoardings all over the city. ’’Welcome to the Land of Kingfisher’’ scream the hoardings. Frankly speaking, Kingfisher is the best beer in India. So, as they say, ’’While in Rome, Do as the Romans Do !’’
