I prefer Satre

When I was a young and naive 20 year old, I thought I needed that extra push that this book gave me. From being slow and skeptical(of myself as well), I suddenly found pleasure in thinking of myself in positive tones. That is a good thing actually. But, it is not a GREAT thing.

Objectivism has had a profound effect on the world no doubt, but so has socialism and let us just acknowledge than in the modern world both coexist and strengthen the resulting society. The author created her ideal man in this book, in the form of architect Howard Roark and bestowed him with qualities like courage, confidence and dedication to his profession.

Lastly let me add a few good points about this novel. It is fast paced and has all the ingredients of an interesting romance novel. I will not dig Rand’s way of portraying her ideology but I applaud her for creating characters we all love to talk about.
