Rejuvenating

There are times in life when you feel like what the hell?this is it. you know like a full stop, its just the feeling of terrible emptiness a void so deep, its unfathomable, yes it happens to me I am sure it happens with you too, now comes the tantalising question how do you deal with it??????.

This is my remedy to BELIEVE again, The Fountain Head, i read this book when I was in 8 grade, for the very first time, i could not sleep the whole night, my brain was a maelstorm of emotions most of them alien to me.I could feel the surge through me, I became howard roark for that moment, supreme, confident and so sure of myself that conventions didnt matter, iwas one with him. I knew by some insight I did not know I posessed that I had found my mantra, as they say my elixer to life.

I make it a point to read this book once every year also its sequel- atlas shrugged and objectivism by the same author , these keep the furnace burning bright, like food to my soul.

This is my attempt at a much later stage in my life to try and expain to my self when I am so fascinated, so entranced by the fictional life of keating, roark, dominique, let me begin its basically the general theme of the book which lifts me up , supreme believe in self with a tinge of self destruction if tampered with, iam in love with that concept.

Also I love the the tremendous friction between roark and dominique , the love that is so profound, even dangerously so that it transcends human bodies, its like two medieval

warriors fighting on a bridge slung between two tall peaks, from which one cant fall or another cant die, they both are at each others throats each trying to subdue one another, but thats what tickles me , if you cant fall or another cant die , at one point you have to accept each other

this is how I interpret this book , one to be read as an elixer, as an antidote to the poison you consume every day

so this is it if you ask me now why this book is it, I still cant tell you but this is what I feel .

please feel free to give your interpretations, comments
