I watch this news network because they are fair with their reports. They dont slant or spin as they see it. They report, and you decide.
About 4 years ago, CNN got a run for its money AND ratings, when a new 24 hour news reporting cable station came on the scene. Airing to viewers with a more moderate or center slant on news, it has been raking in news watchers across the nation and the world. FOXNEWS has taken over the ratings in the prime time viewing slots and has passed CNN with major benefits to its viewers. Rather liberal or conservative, or just middle of the line....each of YOU get your spin. CNN has not shared these qualities on their prime shows, but more or less have retained a liberal bias. People finally have a choice. CNN tells you the news, and FOX lets you decide what the news is.
THE BEGINNING:
Rupert Murdoch is owner of the Fox network. He was born in Australia in 1931. Buying up major media there and over here{US}, he has taken his right to form a new cable news station to court. Murdoch wanted to give people an alternative against Ted Turner{CNN}. Turner is known as a very liberal guy. That is ok. It is just that he didnt want to report both sides of an issue. For ten years he had to fight CNN and about 4 years ago..he outfoxed CNN and won. Considered a more right wing slant to the news, it was soon determined and shown, that both sides of the political arena, could find pundents and news on Fox. It is not that it is so far right, it is that you can at least hear the right side of politics. You could not hear BOTH sides of an issue at CNN. But, they are coming along a little more with airing right sinse Fox has passed in their ratings.
24 Hour Reporting:
Throughout the day, you will get a live report of any updated BREAKING news and headlines. Always at the hour and half hour start, there is 2/3 minutes of this breaking news. During the following hour, you will have discussions by BOTH sides on issues making the news, whether it is taxes, accidents, shootings, etc.
7am ET-9am ET:
This is the morning show called Fox and Friends. You have Steve, Eddie, and Brian entertaining you with cooking tips or latest fashions and much more. They are up against CBS, NBC and ABC mornings shows and very much consistance with their viewers.
Throughout the day you see special reports and the breaking and headline news on the 1/2 hour to hour.
4pm ET...Cavuto report:
This is a financial report and how it effects YOU or me, and the economy.
6pm ET....Special Report with Britt Hume:
Britt Hume was a Washington reporter for many years. He is respected in that community with his fairness and balance. He interviews and has a round table of both liberal and conservative daily guests.
7pm ET...Fox Report with Shep:
This guy keeps your interest and has a way with reporting.
8pm ET...The Oreilly Factor:
Bill Oreilly wont let the guests off easy with ball part questions. He puts them on the rack and you can decide for yourself if it is spin...coverup...reality.
9pm ET...Hannity and Colms:
Both Sean Hannity and Alan Colms have well known radio shows. Hannity is your RIGHT and Colms is your LEFT. Fast paced and very interesting. You may see a little verbal fight once in a while.
10pm..ETThe Edge: with Paula Zahn:
Paula is a bit more liberal than I first thought, but a very fair host. She questions the top guests for their views and lets them battle it out.
Fox News Network is worth your effort to check out. And they have a website for checking program listings and guests. https://foxnews.com/
Another alternative would be CNBC on cable.
