Frasier SHOULD leave the building....

FRASIER has been one of the most successful comedy series around but all good things must come to an end. The first few series of FRASIER must rate as some of the best TV comedy shows around but sadly, the show has deteriorated and it just seems to be getting worse and worse.

THE SHOW

Frasier Crane has started a new life in Seattle after a divorce. He has a job as a popular phone-in ’radio psychiatrist’.He is very successful and is enjoying his new life in his city apartment.

That is until his father ... Martin Crane, needs full time care and it’s either move in with one of his sons or move into a retirement home.

Frasiers brother Niles Crane, talks Frasier into having his father move in with him. Frasier reluctantly agrees and goes out to buy him the latest in designer furniture to blend in with his designer apartment.

The day arrives when Martin moves into Frasiers bringing with him his care giver, Daphne Moon, ( an eccentric englishwoman) his dog Eddie (Frasier hates dogs) and shock-horror....his old TV chair! No amount of persuading can coax Martin into his new designer armchair so Frasier accepts tha fact that the old and tatty TV chair will take pride of place in his ’bachelor pad’ living room.

The scene is set for one of the best shows around.!

Over the years the format of Frasier has remained the same but as the character Niles, became more popular, he started having more emphasis and I think this has been the downfall of the show.

It has now become the NILES show and I’m afraid it just ain’t what it used to be.

Watch the first few series of this show though and you will see some of the best comedy of all time.
