Catch the Frequency!!

CAST Dennis Quaid, Jim Caviezel

DIRECTOR Gregory Hoblit

WRITER Toby Emmerich

Its a complex story told in a simplified manner. Frequency is likable if you go with its logic and dont ask questions. Imagine if you can influnece events of the past and can ensure that your father doesnt die in the fire that claimed him? This is what Frequency is about.

It has Jim Caviezel as a cop and Dennis Quaid as the firefighter father. Caviezel and Quaid race against the clock - divided by three decades and connected only by

a radio - to prevent a murder that can make or mar their family lives. By a quirk Frank is able to contact his father living 30 years ago through his radio. He advises his father to quit smoking, his brother to invest in yahoo. Each

time Frank(Quaid) changes something in his universe, John(Caviezel) wakes up to a whole

new reality.

Both Quaid and Caviezel perform well. They establish an emotional connection that is hard to shake off. The climax is below par in an otherwise well written and directed movie. Also the ending is overly happy reminding you of Sooraj Barjatya sweetness.

Frequency

is filled with a mix of genres. There’s parallel universes, sci-fi

Einstein theory stuff, and a great father and son reunion, it can move you to tears.
