I wrote about the hook and cheat approach of Swiggy & Zomato India a few days back. Now it is FreshToHome. I have been a user of their service from the time they started in Bangalore years ago, generally satisfied except a few(maybe 4-5) lapses over the years. They launched the 30 minutes service a few weeks ago - it used to be a 90 minutes service, I was forced to use the same while wondering how can fresh be delivered in 30 minutes?! anyways I have placed 6-7 orders using this 30 minutes service and 4 out of 6 times the delivery notification showed delivered within 10 minutes but not delivered, usually delivered only after 45-60 minutes. All the delivery men in the areas know us very well since they all have delivered multiple times over the years. Now they are at a loss to explain the bad service - or is it again the bad design. Key questions(DOUBTS). is it fresh any more? I never questioned that before.how can a 30 minutes delivery of chicken be fresh at 7 in the morning?definitely not.Understand the pressure from the instant delivery competition but your USP was freshness which stands to be questioned now. I for sure am looking at other genuine fresh options. Thank you for your good service over the years - bye bye.
