I'll be there for You

Life! A painful yet beautiful journey we all are into. Shock to its core, how it does make different sense to every human being, to some it is mountain to conquer, to few it is battle to survive, a competition to win, to some black sheep it’s the mystery of unknown, to the enlightened is like flow of water and to raising the vibration but at the end each and everyone is connected in one thread called Love & Happiness. This Universe is never ending story and her mystery will be completely solved ever, isn’t it beautiful to have a few group people who means the whole universe to you? That’s what Friends are for! It’s just like appreciating our moments and the moments of other soul.

Talking about this amazing flavor of life, Friendship, how and why the popular sitcom called FRIENDS grabbed so much attention and received such huge popularity over the world. The first and foremost reason is, you be from Texas or California or Wales, we all can connect to it so deeply with this show. It is never over dramatic, the script was so well written that nowadays we do Friends character, we live, breathe with it. ‘Friends’ is an evergreen series, never grows old. It is nothing but the free therapy today. I would like to elaborate on that.

Characters in the show Ross, Pheobe, Joey, Chandler, Rachel and Monica are so real that we tag ourselves naming it. “Friends” debuted on NBC in the fall of 1994, ran for an entire decade. It has turned 25 years old still so young because it is so easy to watch. The lifestyle we live in today, at the end of the day we find it so hard to handle with the state of burn out and there comes Friends, it has everything to make us feel relaxed, so happy. So many surprises, so much body comedy, so many jokes and awwws, and excitement of live-studio audience. Coffee shops became people’s second homes. Tens of millions of Americans watched all of that writing and directing and acting, all of that seemingly effortless effort, for all 10 of its years.

I would also like to mention the other side, the tag of acceptance. Knowingly or unknowingly we all fell in love with Friends and script writers did magical spell on us. In the form of humour they have covered so many topics that our society doesn’t accept. I remember the season opening up with the scene of Ross being divorced with his gay wife and Rachel ran away from her marriage as she didn’t feel, her fiancé Barry was actually her significant one. This sense of freedom and how lovingly being accepted in friends. Character like Pheobe, we don’t see much often and society put lots of constraints but so beautifully portrayed, even the relation between Ross and Rachel. It felt so life like. In a way the show also taught its fans to become more open minded.

Keeping everything aside, the show also caught the attention of viewers’ with so many cameos. We won’t get to see Julia Roberts or Robin Williams or Brad Pitt in any show.

Nonetheless, ‘Friends’ has given everything to us and make us believe again not to take this world so seriously, we won’t understand any of it keeping our haste but with a loving circle of Friends the Hell transforms into Heaven. The work and devotion of Marta Kauffman, Kevin S. Bright, Michael Borkow, Michael Curtis, Adam Chase, Greg Malins, Wil Calhoun, Scott Silveri, Shana Goldberg-Meehan, Andrew Reich, and Ted Cohen produced a proof of a golden age.
