One question - why is F.R.I.E.N.D.S. featured under Star World and not under Zee English when the latter is airing the latest (?) seasons ?
It all started over coffee in a cosy cafe ’Central Perk’ based in New York where a spoilt ’daddy’s girl’ Rachel bumps into her old ’friend’ Monica. Ross (Monica’s brother) relives his crush on Rachel and then they both fall in love...but do not live happily ever after (or do they?)...Joey the casanova-cum-dunce is an actor - really sweet but majorly suffers from foot in the mouth syndrome.
Phoebe is a ’singer’ whose ATF composition is ’Smelly Cat’. Ross is a Paleontologist (did I spell tht right) and a professor.Monica is a chef. Rachel works for a fashion house and Chandler is....hmmm...does anyone know what EXACTLY he does ?
cut to present - Rachel and Ross have been married and divorced...anulled actually...the marriage was a result of a drunken night in Vegas...and they have a baby Emma ! and they are also living together (huh?)...but well, they claim not to have feelings for each other...somewhr deep down I think they do...esp Ross! Chandler and Monica are married (the episode where they ’get together’ - during Ross’ would-have-been wedding to Emily was a surprise!)...and are trying to have a baby. Joey and Phoebe seem MFEO, but are not ’’together’’. Phoebe is at present going around with Mike and a little bird told me that they get married in the Grand Finale !
My fav is Chandler - he was brilliant in the first few seasons...his one-liners were great...I guess the writers loved him and gave him the best jokes ! The acting by all of them is good...no wonder they have such a huge fan following and earn big bucks per episode.
One complaint is - do people have time to sit around in a coffee house doing nothing almost all day long ? well buddy, where there’s a will (to get together with FRIENDS, there is a way !)
Zee English airs the latest season...and I dont think Star World even does anymore?
