Non responsive and totally care free customer serv

Although the products of LG are economical and very attractive in their design but their customer service is equally bad, one can say pathetic**. I think being a customer we should lay more emphasis on the after sales services being provided by the company.


My horrific experience I had complained to LG customer service center on 13th Jun as my fridge was not working and even though the customer relation officials assured that their engineer would call within 24hrs I received my first call on 18th Jun i.e., after 5 days, and same day (18th Jun) the engineer paid a visit.


Now starts the events which made me do decide that it is not worth purchasing product of LG. One of the part required replacement and engineer placed the demand for procuring the same. On 20th Jun I called them I was informed that the item has reached Pune’s outskirts and my product will be online by 21th Jun. When I called on 21th Jun I was surprised to know from their supervisor that there was a small confusion (small for them as it was my fridge not working for the last 13 days) and the wrong item had come to them and now the fridge would be repaired by 25th Jun.


Generally in all the good companies if such a problem occurs and if u speak to the officials at a much higher position the problem is resolved and in a very prompt manner but not with LG I found they are equally non responsive to the customers’ requests.
