Top loaders better

Front load washers may use less water but... you have to do smaller loads in them which means you’ll be doing more loads . They don’t last very long either. The average life span of a front loader is only 4 to 7 years , and at a price tag of $600plus , there doesn’t seem to be any benifit in having one.

Also they are not very repairable. Anything that goes wrong with them is usually always major, which means if something goes wrong with it , you might as well figure on buying a new one.

Top loaders are lower priced, last longer, are lower priced, can do larger loads, and are much more fixable than front loaders. My advice... buy a top loader.
