I recently bought a Frontech UPS 600VA. The UPS often gives high pitch beeps which I consider normal initially but after few days I figured out it is not normal while I was going through their manual. Typically UPS should beep when either battery is drained out(Red LED) or periodic beeps at certain interval when its running on battery mode(Amber LED). Surprisingly the high pitch beeps comes often with Green LED.
This UPS has onsite warranty for 2 years and on battery 1 year warranty which was definitely one of USP(unique selling point) among other UPS.
The real bad experience started after I complained this problem to service center. After lodging complain a technician came and changed some component like board or something. After that problem aggrevated so much that now the moment you turn on system it will shut down your system and this has cost me corrupting my OS and data loss.
Upon complaining back about the issue I heard the most absurd statement from technician that this model is not compatible with CRT monitor and its only compatible with LCD monitors. Upon asking how it was working all these days until the component has been changed they dont have any answer and they fail to acknowledge issue. I then sent an email to corporate with clipping of issue and they even fail to acknowledge the issue and till now I havent heard from anyone.
I was wondering if they cant provide support for a small product like UPS then what kind of support customers will be getting for their products like monitor, speakers etc.
