First of all Id like to say it was fun seeing my picture with the words STAR WRITER next to it on mouthshut.coms home page. :)
I live in NY but Ive visited India many times in the past, the last time being the summer of 97. The thing I like most about India are the Mangoes and Mango Juice.
When I was in India I drank Frooti, Madza Mango Juice and many others but Frooti was by far the best Mango Juice Ive ever tasted in my life.
Its best when served cold because the clean, sweet, refreshing taste tickles your taste buds and in the end you and your taste buds are in heaven. :)
Now I have to say this or I wont get any sleep during the night.....Frooti is the perfect accompaniment to Spicy Samosas.
Since the foods in India are spicy a solution is needed to take some of the heat away-----the makers of Frooti did a superb job by making Frooti light and non-syrupy because sweet things add to the spiciness of indian foods.
The container that frooti comes in is bright green with a mango on the front and back of the juice box.
Since a lot of children drink Frooti it was a good idea to make it small enough for little children to hold. Its just the right size and for the mere cost of fifty cents (in the U.S) its a bargain compared to Madzas 80 cent glass bottle which is clunky and fragile.
Some of the things you get in India you cant find in the U.S but theres no problem finding Frooti around where I live...so its good that Frooti is sold in different countries around the world.
In NY they have a wide array of beverages to choose from but nothing is as good as a ice cold box of Frooti during the summer or even in the WINTER! :)
Most of the carbonated beverages out there are just a mix of additives and whatever else they put in-----but Frooti is a fruit juice thats made of all natural products and you can taste it from the very first sip.
One thing that the makers of Frooti might want to consider is making the straw a little longer because sometimes the straw gets stuck in the juice box because its a little too short-----this is from personal experience. :)
Another thing they should consider doing is selling a bigger version of Frooti. Im sure this would make Frooti lovers around the world very happy :)
If you havent tried Frooti yet all I have to say is--whaddya waiting for? :)
