FL Studio (FruityLoops Studio) is a full-featured sequencer perfectly suited for creation of complex songs & realistic drum loops, with 32 bit internal mixing & advanced MIDI support. The resulting song or loop can be exported to a WAV/MP3 file & all MIDI events can be exported to a standard MIDI file.
FL Studio is a pattern based sequencer, which means you create ur songs in pieces (patterns) using the Step Sequencer & the Piano Roll view & then weld those pieces together using the Playlist window. Then u can add a wide range of effects to ur instruments (reverb, phaser, flanger etc.) & route the resulting mixer tracks in any way u like to create complex mixing chains with ease.
Its a great software even better than the other softwares having some similar features ’coz in the FL Studio u have all the stuff u need to create/mix a track. (eg: in Acid Music, u can edit & loop & add some extra beats/rythem to a track. U need to create the beats/rythem with some other software.)

Step Sequencer:
It is the main part of FL Studio’ interface (the Heart). It contains a button for each channel in ur song, from which you can call its Channels Settings, Piano Roll etc. It also contains a pattern grid, where u can create drum loops & simple melodies.
PianoRoll:
It lets u construct songs with unlimited complexity, that would be hard or impossible to do with the Step Sequencer’s grid.
PlayList:
The Playlist window contains a sequence of patterns & audio tracks that form the complete song structure.
