The best value for money

I have opted this low price and japanese brand name influenced me even though it is assembled in china

I have been using this camera for the past one year, and getting very good photographs.

It is compact and uses two pencil batteries but one need either alkaline or nickel metal hydride rechargeables.you can’t use ni.cad batteriesor anyother batries as it will get overheated.

It gives about 2.5 mb jpg on high quality mode for 4mega pixel but I prefer good quality settings for it is only 0.900mb for this settings.

You need to use xd pic card of 128 or 256 mb for movie mode and the quality is ok

however xd picture card of fuji takes less batery power and if I use olymbus xd card batery power oes off very fast and I do not know why.

However batery consumption is quite high for replay or to view the pictures you have taken

It is advisable to add a batery adaptor and a tripod for using video recording to avoid shaking pictures.

overall a good product for stills photos

But zoom is not enough to take any picture on trcking or for wild life, nature photography.

Be prepared to pay more for xd picture card from fuji which is not easily available as olmbus

I find the camera very good that I have stoped using my film camera(Minolta) for the past one year.as the prints for 4.1 megapixel is quite good for printing

pros-- quite good and easy to use , light weight and good batery use only for fuji xd pic card

Cons-Difficultto get fuji xd card and using olybus xd card consume battery.

need tripod for video to prevent shakes and batery adaptor also not easily available

overall very good pruct for beginer and non professional use

I am a happy user of this product as it cost only 100 us dollars
