Very nice camera, fast startup! I like what they did with the non retractable lens, saves time on power up/shutting down and battery power. I love the grip on this camera. The focus assist light is also very strong. Image quality is quite good specially at 5mp fine and raw. ISO 64 produces very clean images, noise starts to show at iso 400 but still acceptable. ISO 1600 is still usable.
Produces vibrant colors.
The S5600 struggles with low light situations, for begginners, this can be quite frustrating. I would suggest getting some practice and read some books about basic photography. If you can master the limitations of this camera, you can get descent shots on low light situations.
This Fuji may lacked in terms of its max o/zoom and no OIS.What it does greater as compared to the others is superb image quality at the higher ISOs, giving a huge advantage for indoor photos. Its size is chunkier than the rest but lighter and snugs even better in my hand. Its polycarbonate body is solid and with the rubber grip it feels like a true baby DSLR.
If you cant take good photos with this camera, hire a photographer. :D
