Lets not compare this digicam feature for feature with the Nikon Coolpix Series (which is Rs. 20, 000/- plus anyway). Instead, look at it as an under Rs. 10, 000/-, good value-for-money buy.
I had it for about 6 months now and I must say that its a great product for its price. It comes with a max res. of 3.2 megapixels and 1 minute video (AVI format only) without sound. It has exceptionally zoom & great macro and a host of other features at par with the Nikon Coolpix. Heres the negative points which I personally am not happy wLith.
For one thing its the re-load time between shots. It takes 4 secs between clicks and that can mean losing your babys best smile at times...It only allows you to save the video clips in AVI format, which means I minute of footage can drain 10MB from your data space (Ouch!). The Nikon Coolpix series can re-load in under 2 secs and store video in mpeg format (1 min. video = less than 2 MB)..but then just for that - you pay double.
The Fuji Finepix is a good choice of photgraphy buffs whod like a second cam thats digital, but dont want to go in for something very pricey yet.
