I went into a shop to buy a portable MP3 player for my car.I generally wanted a player which supports MP3 because MP3s are cheap. As I knew the cheap MP3/ACD/VCD players cost around Rs.1500 and with the car attachment around Rs.2000. The vendor showed me Fujitel player which was of Rs.1500. He played an audio cd and I heard the clarity of the player. It was good and I thought it was value for money as it came with an attractive box, a remote control and 2 rechargeable batteries. But when I came home it turned to be very bad deal for me. I inserted a MP3 cd which was burned on a CD-R. It took a hell lot of time to recognize the cd and when it did, some songs played perfectly for a few seconds and it skipped. Despite of the 40 sec anti-shock memory written on the player its of no use. It was just for the sake to satisfy the customers they had written.
Then I inserted an ACD (audio cd) which ran perfectly without any skips if the player is placed at one place. But if you just walk at a normal pace it just skips even a ACD and no doubt MP3will definitely skips no matter keeping the player in a still position.
I think if anybody wants to buy a good player go for a branded one.
