The cost of the Brand New Laptop Fujitsu Lifebook AH512 brought on 21st May 2013 from Flipkart was just Rs-15645.
WE FOUND LCD IS CRACKED AND ASKED THEM TO SERVICE IT. THEY REFUSE TO COVER THE REPLACEMENT UNDER WARRANTY STATING PYSICAL DAMAMGE.
THEY LCD REPLACEMENT COST AS Rs-25, 268 (24065+TAX1203)? ALMOST TWICE THE COST OF NEW LAPTOP.
Looks like they fleece their customer like this???
First of all the Laptop was supplied with problem in charging which was rectified by online support then it was already having defective LCD for sure as there was no damage from our side still they said it was a physical damage which we don’t agree.
Since we are trapped and no other opton is left to get the same rectified they started quoting absurd amount!!!
IS IT NOT FLEECING INNOCENT CUSTOMER LIKE US?
DO YOU EVER SEE THIS KIND OF ABSURD QUOTATION ANYWHERE IN THIS WORLD WHERE THE NEW LAPTOP PURCHASE WILL COST HALF THE AMOUNT IT NEEDS TO GET ONE PART RECTIFIED???
All these quotes were given by Fujitsu Authorised Service Agent Redington India Ltd..
In the entire episode FUJITSU TEAM NEVER BOTHERED to interven and rationalise the quote and it seems they are least bothered about after sales service once their product is sold.
FINALLY when they didnot budge to reduce we went to local Laptop servicing centre and got the defective LCD for just Rs-3900/- YES THATS THE TRUTH
THEY WANTED Rs-25000 Plus for a item WHICH was REPLACED elsewhere for Paltry sum of Rs-3900/-
I ADVISE ALL TO BE LITTLE CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY FUJITSU LAPTOP or DEAL WITH REDINGTON INDIA LTD.
