As located near my college, Fujiya was a regular feature of our college time-table. The most difficult aspect of Fujiya is to find a sitting place. Always overcrowded, it is the place in demand for diplomats. There is long waiting and even after the waiting session you are not guaranteed comfortable place.
Due to its small size, the separate non-smoking and smoking areas serve no purpose. The place is filled with choking smoke. Once you manage to call the attendant deciding the menu is not so difficult. The menu has the limited Chinese cuisine. Nothing exclusive to offer, though the Japanese cuisine might have wide variety to offer but being a vegetarian has its limitations.
The food tastes like regular place like the Golden Dragon or the similar. But the good thing is that neither is it too oily or spicy. The service, food and ambience is average. The quantity served is decent and the food filling. Soups should be tried, steaming and unique.
