Full house is telecasted on zee english at 11 in morning , night and 6 in the evening . It is one of those family sitcoms that will always remain engraved in American tv history as one of the first serials to offer quality content. Set in San Francisco, this is a show about a very loving family headed by Danny Tanner, who became a single father when his wife, Pam Tanner, was killed in a car accident. Pam’s brother Jesse Katsapolis and Danny’s best friend Joey Gladstone moved into the house to help Danny raise his three daughters D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle.
Danny works as a talk show host in ’’Wake up San francisco’’ along with Rebecca donaldson who becomes a regular on the show from the 3rd season. Jesse , is shown as a guy crazy about his hair who spends hours in front of the mirror and has dated most of the beauties of San Francisco . He also has his own advertising company, called ‘J & J creative services’with Joey Gladstone. Later he is married to Rebecca and the they have two beautiful twins Nick and Alex . Jesse writes and sings music too .Joey is a stand up comic whose antics sometimes foolish keep the audience entertained. Finally come the three daughters who basically are the main reason for the show’s resounding success. All three of them have played their characters remarkabely well .There is D.J , the oldest daughter , who wants to be the best in everything she does. Then is Stephanie who gets excited about every little thing.Like her father, she can talk for hours and sometimes she’s a blabber mouth .The youngest of all is Michelle who is actually played by the Olsen twins. In the start she is shown as a baby of 6 months and the sweet and hillarious acting she does at such a young age rightly justifies the kind of popularity, the Olsen twins have gained in America.
The show is a must watch family sitcom and each and every episode teaches the viewers something.The show ran for 8 years and has 192 episodes.The show has something about it that even if you watch it for the 3rd or 4th time , you do not get bored. Its such a loving family with all of them sharing each others’ problems , enjoying themselves on the family trips and sacrificing for each other. The comedy might look a bit outdated sometimes but it still makes one laugh.The cuteness of Michelle, the fighting of the two sisters , the kid in Joey , the mancho Jesse , the lovely Becky , the crazy Kimmy Gibbler , the sweet twins and the cleanliness freak Danny all of them just make a brilliant stress buster light hearted comedy. This show should have been a huge success in India where family values are given so much importance . But unfortunately Zee English has failed to give proper publicity to this show.I certainly recommend it to every family.
