FULL HOUSE Danny Tennor, Donna Joan Tennor, Stephanie Tennor, Michelle Tennor, Jessie Cudsopeles and Joseph Gladstone. Wondering who these people are? Well, they are the members of the Full House. A totally entertaining and enthralling, healthy, family comedy. Right now it is being telecast for the nth time on Zee English. Having watched it so many times the thought of watching it again still does not bore you.
The story is about the tennor family. Danny Tennor (played by the very good looking Bob Saget) is the father of 3 very cute little girls-the eldest DJ, Steph and little Michelle. Danny lost his dear wife Pam after Michelle’s birth and in order to raise the 3 kids, gets 2 people home for help. One of them is Jessie Cudsopeles, Pam’s bro and the girls’ uncle; the other is Danny’s old pal Joseph Gladstone (Joey). So the story is really about how these men bring up the 3 girls, the situations they confront daily, the predicaments they are in at times and on the whole how each hurdle is crossed, each problem is confronted and solved together as one family. A little peep into each of the characters Danny is a talk show host. First he hosted a sports channel program and then went on to host Wake up San Francisco. (Incidentally he is a cleanliness freak and agrees he is a mean lean hugging machine) He loves spending time with his kids and is the most lovable dad. He is one of the few men who look good and really are good. Jessie is a huge Elvis fan. His biggest obsession is his hair (which by the way is awesome). He is a motor racing fan, loves going to the famous Smash club, hanging out with babes and stuff like that. He has a band of his own and he plays the guitar. Basically the hunko with a rough exterior and soft interior. Once he moves in to Danny’s place he has a total transformation. He starts a radio show with Joey. He falls in love with Danny’s talk show co-host, Rebecca Donaldson and then becomes the proud father of adorable twins Niki and Alex. He also starts an ad agency with Joey. Joey is a comedian. He is a fantastic mimic and a ventriloquist. Despite being 30 plus there is a little kid in him. He loves cartoons and hogging sweet stuff. He has a great sense of humor. He has with him a mannequin and all his clothes are in pairs. On noticing u’ll find that he and the mannequin wear the same clothes. He also wears 2 watches. His room is filled with toys. He dreams of becoming a renowned comedian one day.
Then there are the 3 girls- typical youngsters with the talk of toys and movies and clothes and cute guys and school and so on and forth. Their neighbour Kimmi Gibbler, DJ’s best friend is a good for nothing pain in their neck. That is the portrayal of the tennor family who can be visited every weekday at 11.00 am, 6.00 pm and 11.00 pm on Zee English. (Gosh, thrice a day!) This is one program that probably every family can sit and watch to relish. People of all age groups will like the concept and picturisation. The biggest plus point is that the little truths of everyday life, relationships, upbringing of kids, work, home making and the love in a family-the chord that binds everyone together is elicited in a remarkable way. Some things said make a lot of sense and are so relevant. This is definitely something one can enjoy and derive a lesson from. Make sure you visit this family. You are guaranteed a good time.
