We recently bought a Samsung toploader fully automatic washing machine(Air Turbo) with plastic drum.
My wife was very particular to buy a toploader without stem(pulsator) because we have seen that one our relatives struggles to disentangle the washed clothes for drying.
She said’no’ to a frontloader(though it consumes less water) because the wash cycle cannot be interrupted manually(in case we desire one more wash or rinse in between). In case of power failure, it is very difficult to retrieve the clothes from a frontloader.
After extensive queries with the dealers (research.?!) we bought the Samsung Airturbo and found that all the above problems are not there. My wife is very much backpain-free which she used to get from the semi-automatic washing machine we were having earlier. Though fully automatic, the wash cycle can be interrupted any time, in case suddenly we feel that the clothes need an extra wash or an extra rinse. She is very much satisfied with the toploader w/m. Our only disappointment was that we could not buy the Samsung fully automatic toploader with STEEL drum(which is said to give a better washing than this one) because of the hardness of our well water. We are very much pleased with the functioning of the Samsung Toploading fully automatic machine.
