Whirlpool has one of the worst after sales service I have ever encountered anywhere. We live in Coimbatore and their agent for service is Pinnacle Services.
Couple of days back the machine stopped working. A service person came from the service centre, made an estimate for Rs.1325.00 as we are on AMC otherwise the charge would be Rs.4000.00 plus he said. He asked us for payment upfront as the machine had to be transported to workshop blah blah.... He also promised the the machine will be returned after repairs within 2days.
We paid the money immediately. This was on the 18th March. It si 3 days since the promise and the machine has not even been collected by the service centre! All calls go to a call centre who make vague noises about how sorry they are etc. Trying to lodge a complaint with Whirlpool itself proved to be an exercise in futility as the website does not even open! So much for the much hyped WHIRLPOOL. My next buy for a household appliance will definitely be not be WHIRLPOOL.
