The ticketing staff will always offer you the maximum cost tickets, even when the floor plan is all empty. They deliberately dont reveal the floor plan to you and tell that the only tickets available are the Gold / Platinum class. When you enter the cinema, its complete empty & there’s not much you can do that time.
The same kind of cheats are at their food counters. This cinema never displays what costs the food-stuff is sold at. When you have ordered, they charge you something out of the heavens., you’re sure to feel sorry for what you’ve asked for. Once I’d asked what costs the stuff is sold, they pointed at an LCD, which had some more cheat stuff and the food costs rolled over them once in four minutes. Is that a price/menu ? REAL CHEATS.
Also Fun republic is a pathetic cinema at horrendous cost. Its ill maintained and not cleaned up. Sometimes I had seen rats moving around the aisle. Once I had to watch the movie - Avatar - 3D , along with a bus-load of kids, who had come on some kid’s birthday, and playing hide-n-seek, running helter-skelter throughout the movie. There was no action from the cinema staff, when all the audience were restless and shouting. Real pain after paying so much. (ticket was Rs. 250/- per head, way much higher than BigCinema/Imax/Fame etc )
I’ve shifted to Big Cinemas at my nearest place. These guys are reasonable with pretty much bigger screens and better sounds. I’ve vowed never to go to FUN again.
