I am writing a true experience of mine with Fun Republic. I would write this review in two phases i.e. **1) Before 4 years and 2) Now, lets start with before 4 years:
I was doing my graduation before 4 years. At that point of time Fun republic used to be most happening place for youth. You can watch movies, play games, enjoy shopping with your friends and enjoy very nice food at their food court. If I have to rate that Fun Republic I would rate it 5/5. At that point of time evrything was perfect there be it ambience, stores, food anything.
Now:
But when I see Fun Republic now, there is nothing like it used to be. I have recently been there and watched 1920 movie. The first thing shocked me was no food court where I used to enjoy with my friends. Next thing was now there are hardly any retail stores there. There was a time when all the stores were occupied. Don’t ask me about ambience and decor. You will also not enjoy watching movies there as so many new multiplexes with superb interiors have emerged in Ahmedabad.
When you compare Fun Republic with Multiplexes like CineMax, Adlabs, City Gold at Shyamal. It stands nowhere. Parking place is good but than in spite of decline in visitors there, they charge Rs. 10 for parking. When the trend in ahmedabad is either free parking, or reimbursements on showing tickets or maximum of Rs. 5
Final Verdict:
If you are keen to watch only movie, than you can go there but again I will not recommend. And if at all you want to do shopping and have god food than Fun republic is strictly prohibited now.
" But yes you can always go there ton play bowling. This is the only reason you should be there."
