Hi guys this is my second filmi review and if anyone is expecting a detailed review and critique, please check mouthshutdotcom?s review. And one more thing, if you are of the female kind, please read no further. No, really! Please read no further.
So where do I start? I?ll start with what I was doing at cinema hall watching this movie; Seen Black, Bewafaa houseful, wanted to avoid Jurm at all costs (a really bad decision in retrospect).
The fact that the movie is not of decent/family grade is known so I am not going to comment on morals or the story line. This review is just the rantings of a sad and depraved man who saw the movie and felt cheated. The movie is a C-grade flick for the sex-starved man (referred to as SSM, henceforth).
I would say that an A grade movie for the SSM would probably be Jism, Murder, etc.. B grade movies could be Julie, Sheesha etc.. I hope I have made it very clear that, about what sort of movie this is.
Now the details: There are a few passing shots of cleavage, bare abs and legs. But the way the scenes have been shot and edited, make them uninteresting? somewhat similar to watching dogs mate on the street. Of the four leading women only Payal Rohatgi and Heena Rehman meet the SSM?s standards, but then again Payal Rohatgi?s bad dialogue delivery and a low-class-prostitute?s tone and voice is real turn off (I am agreeing with mouthshutdotcom?s comment).
Some costumes have been stolen from the wardrobe of Sheena the warrior princess/jungle queen and I think a FBI APB (All points bulletin) is out, to trace the whereabouts of the thives. A retired ladies/dance bar waitress has done the make up on the actresses? faces and the job is just a notch above the makeup artists/hairdressers used by our regional blue film makers.
The movie progresses from one boring scene to another and hats off to the director who has managed to get a few SSMs to leave the hall halfway through the movie. I was in fact looking around the hall to see if any live action was going around.
Sadly I was disappointed in this regard as well since there were only a few ladies in the hall and they too were trying to persuade their guys to escort them out.
So in essence, don?t expect to get a hard-on by watching this movie. I would rather go to some small video parlor in a shantytown and watch true-blue porn flick with no pretensions of a sex-thriller.
