Pathetic service from Furlenco

If you are looking to rent some furniture for a short time instead of buying then never ever go with FURLENCO . I recently had a very unpleasant experience with Furlenco that I feel compelled to share. I ordered some furniture on rent for 3-4 months and recently tried to return it, where my nightmare start. It took them around 18days to get my furniture picked-up after numerous of rescheduling by them.


To start with, the customer service was nothing short of frustrating. When I called for assistance, I was forced to wait on hold for an excessively long time, like 7-10mins was the minimum wait time till you get to connect with there customer executivr which is unacceptable for a service that claims to value its customers. The wait times were simply ridiculous, and when I finally got through, the staff was unhelpful. There is no direct communication between there delivery/pick-up agents. They connect with warehouse which also sometime not answers to them for any issues. Even they ensure you to update on timely basis but they don’t.


The chatbot on their website was no better—it was completely useless. Instead of offering real solutions, it only repeated generic responses that didn’t address my concerns at all. It was frustrating trying to communicate with a system that clearly wasn’t designed with the user experience in mind.


Things only got worse when the delivery and pickup agents arrived. At the time of delivery they charged me 1500rs for just to get the furniture from ground to my floor although I already mentioned that I stay on 3rd floor without lift at the time of buying and also asked me to get a rikshaw to take the furniture from road to my home(approx 50m distance) which I beared.


Real problem start when I tried to return. The agent arrived at place and refused to take the furniture saying the truck will not come to my home. They were rude, unprofessional, and lacked basic courtesy and get the pick-up rescheduled without confirming if me or anyone else will be available at the time of pick-up. I called the customer care to get it rescheduled. Not only did they fail to follow the proper procedures, but they also seemed completely disinterested in providing any kind of assistance. Then on second attempt the agent called and inform me that he is coming but didn’t showed up and inform me that the vehicle got broke after I called them. Due to this I had to pay extar rent to my landlord just for Furlenco’s furniture lying there. The pickup was an absolute nightmare, with no proper communication about the timing or process. Later, The pick-up was completed in parts, some furniture was took on Saturday and rest of that pickup yesterday after numerous of call and request from my end. If you ask agents to consult with the company executives for any issues they reply with saying "We don’t know the company or nothing to do with the company. We only listen to our transportation which also not directly connected with them".


Overall, Furlenco’s service is far from the quality you would expect from a brand that advertises itself as a reliable and customer-centric company. I would strongly advise others to think twice before engaging with them. The lack of professionalism, combined with poor customer service and rude staff, makes them a company I would not recommend to anyone.????
