I bought a future general saral anand policy, number 00755512 from a RMP multilevel marketing guy. That guy gave me an absolutely false information regarding the policy. After getting the policy when I saw the documents , I contacted the local branch and they told me that there is a 15 day freelook period during which I can return the policy and get a refund.
So I couriered the documents to them along with my colleagues documents in a single envelope. He got a confirmation from them that his documents have reached. On my repeated calls the person who picks up the phone always tells me that he or she will call me after sometime after checking the details, and never calls. I have called them 5 times , but every time the same story. Today when I confronted him , he said that the server is down and I should call him after 3 days.
I hope they do something on that day.
The main branch still sounds a bit professional on email though. But they too are not able to do anything with such useless people at the local branch.
Very irritating and disturbing.
Meanwhile my advice to all of you is to stay away from them. They are the most nonprofessional people I came across, that too in insurance!!!!
