Online Fraud Bazaar also known as Futurebazaar

The update on this is that inspite of regular e-mail correspondence with them, nobody turned up to collect the product.  But they have reversed the money charged from the credit card.  After a long time some other courier, not the one who delivers the product for them came and picked the product.   I asked future bazaar to acknowledge the receipt of the product., but have received a standard mail that they are coordinating with their logistic partner.  I wonder what is happening.  Big bazaar has now opened terminals for futurebazaar in their malls.  I see a lot of people crowding them, not to buy online but with grievances.


I should have heeded the advice of the reviews on Mouthshut and avoided Futurebazaar like plague and now I regret not having done so.  I had ordered for a particular model of steam iron on futurebazaar and paid the amount through my credit card.  What was delivered was totally different iron box and not the one that I wanted.  I had immediately notified futurebazaar via mail.  I am surprised to get a mail that it will take 9 days for them to take the product back and replace the product.  The MRP of the product listed was much more than the marked price.  This gives me the impression that they are inflating the prices of products and offer discounts which do not really exist.


Nine days have past and there is no sign of anyone coming to pick the product.  On enquiring via e-mail Futurebazaar tells me about their return policy for defective goods.  Excuse me this is not a defective product but the foolishness of futurebazaar to deliver the wrong product.  The customer service is ignorant and I will never buy anything online on this website.  I also warn other gullible customers not to buy anything on this site, eventhough the displays and the pseudo discount offered will be tempting.  I wish to expose  this fraud by filing a case in the consumer court and prevent other people being taken for a ride.
