Future bazaar: delivery sometime in the future

I happened to come across this site sometime around the 26th Jan. when BB carried a supplement to advertise products and online availability. I found a TV stand of particular interest and went online to purchase it on the 26th itself. The website was experiencing some issues and the only thing I could do is to register myself.


On the 27th , I logged in again and was successful in buying my TV stand for 899 Rs. I paid online through HDFC bank transfer ( from my HDFC a/c) and expected delivery after a maximum of 1 week. After a week I logged in again to check the status of my delivery and to my surprise , it showed Awaiting for Bank approval. Thinking that an Online  Bank Transfer is in real time called up their cust. care and surprisingly, the call was picked up in 1 ring. Gave the lady my order no. and asked why the status is showing awaiting when I have made an online bank transfer.


The only answer she could come up with after checking with a few people is that " Sir , we are waiting for your money to come to us" (as if my money is going to walk up from my HDFC account into their hands) and our system shows Awaiting Bank approval. Isn’t that the reason I had called up to clarify in the 1st place.Finding no sense in talking to her, I decided to call up HDFC within a weeks time to reverse the charges, but after 3 days got an auto reply from them stating that my order was approved....Joy.....I thought  wondering that finally my TV stand would arrive.


Well as of today 10 February, it still hasnot arrived . I surely have purchased a product on Future Bazaar....

P.S. I have been to Big Bazaar physically on 2 occassions after my online purchase.*
