I ordered online a mobile phone from futurebazaar.com on 5th February 2011.Two days later someone from futurebazaar.com rang me up to thank me for the order and to assure me that the phone would reach me within seven days from my order date. I made the payment through my debit card. To my utter surprise I got a mail from them on 14th Feb, stating that my order has been cancelled since the item is not available. There after some one rang me up offering another phone of a different make and type. I refused that offer. It took another 8 days for me to get my money back in my account.
I consider it to be an unfair trade practice(CHEATING in clear terms) on the part of futurebazaar.com. Reasons:
1) Show-casing an item that was not available with them.
2) Taking so much of time to cancel the order and to refund the amount.
3) Not paying interest on the amount that remained with them for seventeen days.
I suspect these people are deliberately doing it to mobilize interest-free fund, for which they would have had to pay a handsome interest to the banks. So friends, be careful about such cheats online. Avoid shopping from such sites, Inform of this cheating method to all your friends.
