Gabbar is back is the ’name - esis ’ of the famous character ’Gabbar’. The film starts of with a very righteous man professor Aditya ( Akshay Kumar ) and his tryst with corruption . He is on a mission.to.infuse a sense of purpose and hope amongst his students in National College the place where he teaches the five elements of survival both practically and theotrically . Inspite of being a professor he is vigilante who functions under the name of Gabbar . He and his team inject fear amongst the corrupt officers . . The main.motive of the team is to eliminate all the corrupt officials from all the spheres of life . .in a systematic manner
. Prof . Aditya also makes out time for coffee shops with Devaki ( Shruti Hassan ) . There is also a back story of Aditya romancing with his wife ( Kareena Kapoor in a cameo ) and how tragedy strikes him , courtesy industrialist Digvijay Patil ( Suman Talwar ) . While the police officials are unable to nab Gabbar , it takes an enterprising english speaking constable Sadhu ( Sunil Grover ) to get vital clues and leads abput the whereabouts of Gabbar and his team .
Gabbar is Back is remake of south movie Ramanaa . Despite the film being remake of hit tamil movie Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi makes all the possible effort to give film that surely hits audience heart. His story telling via his debutant movie is praiseworthy.
The pace of movie is leisurely and it’ s only towards the end that it takes up the pace .The songs ’ Teri meri kahaani ’ and the item song ’ Kundi na khadkaao raja ’ adds up spice to film.On the whole ’Gabbar is back ’ is an average entertainer that will draw huge football due to catchy massy title and action drama . It is a once a watch movie .
