They use cheap tactics to avoid repairing any phone.It had been 5 days since I gave the phone for repairing and there was no communication whatsoever from the company. So, I decided to call up to check, the reply I got, left me shell shocked.
Far from being repaired, work on the phone had not even been started. On further questioning, I was told I would have to get the job sheet of the last repair done from HTC, scan it and send it to them if I wanted to get the work done. This is after I had already sent the bill of the handset as well as the bill of the extended warranty along! It seemed they were only searching reasons to make the warranty void.I didn’t have my phone for the last 6 days and my work was already suffering, and on top of that nobody even bothered to communicate.
After this they assured me they would find a solution by the evening. Yet another false hope, 6 days past AFTER my last call, and absolutely NO communication from them. Then one Mr. Sumit called up and said no solution could be found and I would have to submit the job sheet of last repair from HTC. Is the customer supposed to preserve job sheets? If I had to get into so much trouble why would have I opted for an extended warranty and and wasted my money. The tone in which Mr. Sumit spoke was such as if he was doing a favour by speaking to the customer. They had wasted one more week without reapiring the phone and he had no regret whatsoever.
It does not end here, It took me one whole day for arranging for job sheet of my last HTC repair sent it to them. Now, it has been ANOTHER week since I sent the job sheet and till date their employees have not cared to communicate after repeated attempts from my side.
It has been 3 weeks and I have absolutely no idea where my phone is, what the status of the repair is or if it has even begun or not.I opted for an extended warranty because I thought it would bring some peace of mind and save me from hassles but Gadget Cops has made me believe otherwise.
Buying extended warranty from GADGET COPS is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
