I purchased a Toyota Etios Liva G model from Galaxy Toyota Moti Nagar in August last year. While the sales staff was very courteous and helpful, the post sale-service has been nothing short of a frightening nightmare. The pick-up and drop service is almost always late/shoddy/unavailable; the quality of the work at the body shop(The Sachdeva Group run Body shop which is the same for Hans Hyundai in Moti Nagar) is so poor that I regret even buying this car. Moreover, the staff at the Moti Nagar Body Shop is so impolite, uncouth and incompetent that I have had the worst experience of my life in terms of any service.
My car has been there for the last one month for minor repairs and the 10000 km service. for the first 18 days or so, I didnt even get a response to my queries about the status of the car because apparantly the service advisor, some Mr Sumit Sahay, had gone on leave without handing over my case to any competent authority and despite repeated calls, nobody was willing to give me any satisfactory answers or let me speak to the GM. I finally had to leave work in the middle of the day to go the body shop and wait for an hour before the GM, one Mr Ashwani Vij showed up. He did listen to me and propose solutions, following which he personally took over my case which sped the process along. However, in his absence, one of his asst. managers or service providers, Vijay Gupta, again wrecked my case.
After waiting for 10 extra days, I finally get my car today, only to find fresh scratches all over and the radio antenna broken. When I called Vijay Gupta to explain this and replace it, he spoke to me in such an impolite and unprofessional manner and hung up. I eventually had to go back to the GM to register this complain. The car is back at the body shop and I am so frustrated. I will never recommend toyota to anyone because of their horrid body shop experience unless they can get better workshop support and more competent staff.
