I have always been an advocate of Lombardian theory. This was set up by the late, great Vince Lombardi, coach of the Green Bay Packers American Football team, back in the 1960s. Through a series of speeches he taught us so much about how to win games.
His thoughts were that sports had been made so that people can succeed in them; so itd be good if the English media(parasites) actually praised English teams success for once, instead of focussing on how they can be better:
Here are some of his pearls of wisdom:
Winning isnt everything. Its the only thing!
When I see a good loser, I see a loser
If you arent fired with enthusiasm, youll be fired with enthusiasm.
Its not whether you get knocked down, its whether you get up.
Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit.
This is how sportsmen and people in life should think. Winning isnt important, think again!
