Gangs of Wasseypur 2 is an upcoming bollywood movie n its all set to release on 8th august 2012. Gangs of Wasseypur 2 is Action / thriller type of movie which is directed by Anurag Kashyap . As all of us know that this is a sequel of the Gang of Wasseypur movie which has been released an year ago & left a good impression on the Bollywood. Its predecessor had set the bar so high that it seemed it would be a tough task for ’Gangs Of Wasseypur 2’ to meet the expectations. Yet, surprisingly it manages to reach the benchmark and that too quite well.
Already the sound track has been launched for the movie & It seems to be a hit list !
The musical journey starts off with ’Chhi chaa ledar’ . It captures the essence of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar and has been sung with a countryside touch by 12-year-old Durga.
’Kaala rey’ reflects a dark mood. The sounds of the instruments are minimised at various intervals and Sneha’s voice take centre-stage.The listeners can get a taste of Bhojpuri flavour with the harmonica-backed ’Electric Piya’ . The lyrics are funny and Rasika D Rani’s voice leaves a smile.
The next one is an interesting rap titled ’Bahut khoob’ . It has been crooned by Kids of Musahar Village. ’Taar bijli’ is a mischievous desi ladies sangeet song by Padmashree Sharda Sinha. Traditional instruments like harmonium and dholak have been used to create the desired effect.
All in short, its a must watch movie and I’m eagerly waiting for it to be released...
