This was my first Imraan Haashmi movie. Actually, I saw a Bhatt production movie after a very very long time. And I dont know why I went to theatre with good expectations. Anyways, I went beacuse I liked the songs. And the songs are really good , one reason to go and watch the movie.
Anyways, I think the plot is revealed in other reviews. And I dont want to reveal it because that is another plus point of the movie. A very good screenplay and script, but badly implemented. This movie could have been far better , had they not dragged it so much. you start getting bored within half an hour The dialogues were too emotional, or kind of tragic, and made the movie extrememly slow. I know the movie is all about a drunk - woman , who is fed up of her life. But I think too many dialogues were given to the lead actress , Kangna .
Now , coming to acting, Kangna cant speak Hindi, then why did they take her ? And that too giving her such high level hindi dialogues !! And her accent is the same, whether she is playing a drunk role or not. She looks and sounds drunk all the time. They should have taken uditi goswami or someone else , but not someone who cant speak Hindi . Rohan ’ shiny’ Ahuja , the second actor, acted well though Actually , he had no dialogues at all, but his screen presence was good , and his Underworld Don scenes were impressive. I would have liked to see more of this actor in the movie. Imraan Hashmi - well, I dont know whats the hype with this guy . The guy just keeps smiling for no good reason. I am happy that I dint watch his previous movies !
I think Gulshan Grover - special guest appearance - did the best performance compared to all three.Atleast it made the scenes intense.
The best thing of all in the movie is the music. The music by Pritam is amazing , spec Ya Ali and my fav. BHeegi Bheegi. Atleast its a change from the same music by Himesh Reshamaiyya . The background score also was decent.
Some of the good scenes were when Kanga shouts at Ahuja on phone, and the last 15 mins, where the whole twist takes place.
Go and watch this movie only if u have nothing else to do. I had to watch Ice Age 2 immediatley after this movie just to refresh my mind , because I had left my home in search of a good movie, which was complete after watching Ice Age 2 .
