I saw the film with my family yesterday from Hyderabad Sangeet. We went to this movie based on the reviews seen in the newspapers and websites even though my wife wanted to see Darna Zaroori Hai. It was our first movie in Sangeet. The theatre is in a bad shape now, contrary to the reviews posted here in this website. Its hard time now to put it for a renovation. Seating is really congested as opined by my friends. We felt very hot inside! Either they did not switch on the A/c or it was not at all effective. We saw sealing fans running 10 minutes after the movie started! But the sound system (DTS) was okay.
Story: A gangster (terrorist), so as to escape from the cops after him, rammed into a house where our heroine (a bar girl) was staying alone. Might be due to the innocent/beautiful looks of that young blonde, he withdrew the pistol pointed towards her and hided at her home that night with her consent. It is hard to believe how a girl could face the terrible situation with such ease and calm nature is another matter! The help extended by the heroine transformed the gangster to a grateful person and he took her with him one day from her bar when the onlookers tried to harass her (nothing new). From that point up till the end the film depicted this gansters attitude towards the heroine is of an extraordinarily nice one! Might be the director wanted to show the audience that a gangster has also have soft heart (again nothing new)!!! The soonest, differences with his on mentor and other gang members forced him to live separately with the girl. But again, in one of the encounters with the police, they got aparted each other.
Then comes Imran in the form of a DJ and fell in love with the heroine. Here the normal Imran style stuffs like kissing, bed rooms scenes, and two-three beautiful and hummable songs are fitted to entertain the audience. It is only in the end, the heroine comes to know (the audience also) that the so called lover is a cop came with an assignment of trapping the gangster. In fact, up till that point the audience would also be in dilemma as to whether be with the gangster with a good heart or the cop doing the love-act. Too much flash backs are also killing the flow of the story and creating frustration in audience.
After the cop taking the gangster into custody and getting him the capital punishment, the film end with a grand finale with the revenge of the heroine killing the cop.
To be very frankly, we all got really bored watching it and it was really difficult to pass the time in the hall for that two and half hours. Although the hall was full (might be the initial crowd for a new movie) the frustration could be seen on many faces among the crowd!
Nothing new and totally a boring movie. The only worthful factor in the movie is the songs, for which we can even buy music CD also.
Performance by the casts in the film is okay. But thats not enough na???!!!
