Gangtok, one of my favourite place for summer vacation. Last year I spent 5 days at Gangtok in June . I was very happy with my Gang, my 4 besties. That was very memorable trip for us. Gangtok is capital of Sikkim, situated at a distance of 282 km from my hometown. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for Treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan Mountain ranges. There are many places to visit like Nathu La, Baba Mandir, Hanuman tonk, Tashi view point, Monasteries, Tsomgo lake. If you want to see Boarder of India-China then you have to take pass which will get through the drivers, so contact with drivers 2 day before of sightseeing at Nathu La pass.
and Hotels are easily available at M.G market in very lowest prices and with very good services. We stayed at Hotel Silver line, M.G. market, 4 bed in a single room and service was awesome. Safety is required when you go for Nathu La pass which is situated 14000 ft. above from Gangtok.
