Alia did not impress me at all. I understand Gangubai was young when she was forced into the red light district, but from a woman’s perspective, with all that gangubai may have been through trauma and torture, she must have transformed her into a completely different person, whereas Alia’s image seems to have remained the same throughout the movie from the trailer, her dialogue delivery is not powerful enough, and her character doesn’t fit into the ch. P.S. I don’t despise Alia when we speak about nepotism, she is a good actress, and I believe she turned out well. I still enjoy her films like Udta Punjab and Raazi.
