Had a trip with my family around Diwali last year, we had very high expectations with the place. We reached Uluberia from Howrah by taking a local train. Then we had to take an auto. But, our journey from there onwards was horrible. The roads have been damaged with many cracks in them.
We stayed at a private guest house because the government bunglows appeared to be untidy and unhygienic. The accommodation is a problem, I would say.
But the view of the village was really awesome. The enjoyed the sight of the river and had a lot of fun while boating. It’s a place that fascinated me a lot.
