I happen to visit this garden last thursday and the experience was both bitter sweet. It seemed to be a nice place for people to visit but it seems to be really poorly maintained and the condition is not really good with broken benches and lights which are not working.
Talking about the accessibility, its located at a distance of around 1.8 km from the nearest metro which happens to be saket. One can take auto easily who charge around 20 per person.
The entry fee is 35/- for adults and 15/- for old age people. The garden closes at 6 pm. It is famous for the light and sound show which unfortunately doesn’t happen any more due to faulty maintenance .
At places young couples can be seen, and there have been reports of harassment too so its not really a safe place if you are a girl and plan to go alone. Though there is security but I didnt see them much except at the entrance .
Green cover still remains in parts if park with some beautiful trees but it is in dire need of proper upkeep.
There are not really any hotels in nearby area but one can definitely find good deals near saket metro or can explore nearby area by taking metro which is nearer to city centre.
