Well it’s that time of year again! To plant or not to plant! We all find ourselves working out in the yard this Spring Season, because we want our yards to look nice or we are simply bored and have nothing else to do. Or perhaps a man has no choice in the matter because his wife said to get it done!
Whether we are mowing grass, using the weed eater, trimming or planting, we are busy little bees at work. Now some of us will go to our local stores to purchase plants and flowers and various insecticides, fertilizers, ant killers, weed killers and the list is endless.
And some of us will look for a place online to purchase these types of things. I suppose it depends on the individual person. I know I like to do both. And when shopping online for these types of things I will go to Gardens Alive. ( http://www.gardensalive.com) It’s a really nice online store that I can trust and the prices are not all that bad, neither is the shipping and handling charges.
The site is very easy to understand and get around. It also has some very informative information that will help you decide what you want to do or what you may need.

About Gardens Alive, From the Website
Gardens Alive! is one of the countrys leading mail order companies dedicated to biological control of garden pests. Sales are nationwide and the company traces its roots back to the early 1980s and the kitchen and garage of founder and President, Niles Kinerk. In 1984, after many years of gardening as a hobby, and ten years experience in the direct mail industry, Niles started by testing a natural gardening catalog.
After successfully testing, Gardens Alive! began in earnest in the fall of 1985 by renting space in Sunman, Indiana. Six years later, in the fall of 1991, Gardens Alive! expanded into new space in a vacated Schenley Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. This facility has enabled Gardens Alive! to consolidate its growing operations of rearing beneficial insects, organic plant foods, and fostering research activities with leading universities and specialists in the field of biological control.
There is a lot more to the story and you can find by clicking the link at the bottom of the page called “About Us”. It’s a really interesting story.
